1. Understand the Las Vegas Climate Challenge

Carpet traps dust and allergens at above-average rates. Luxury vinyl plank (LVP) is the most climate-appropriate choice for most spaces. Rooms with southern or western exposure need flooring with UV inhibitors or window treatments for protection.

2. Match Flooring to the Room's Function

High-traffic zones (living rooms, hallways, kitchens) demand durable, easily cleanable surfaces. Bedrooms can accommodate softer materials.
